Product

As a web and print designer at Goalbook, you’ll play a key role in designing our educator facing resources in Goalbook Toolkit and Pathways, and our company website. You’ll also contribute to our branding and marketing strategy through the design of flyers, print materials and publications. You’ll play a strategic role in educating district and school leaders and teachers about Goalbook’s work and our mission of empowering teachers to transform instructional practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the design and update of our goalbookapp.com website
  • Develop collateral and publications that communicate Goalbook’s thought leadership and the outcomes we help achieve with our district partners
  • Work on the Product team to iterate on and design product UI/UX and educator facing resources
  • Manage user lists and newsletters, and analyze site and user analytics
  • Collaborate and participate in strategic initiatives that impact the entire organization across Partnerships, Success, Marketing, and Product

Required Skills & Experience

This will be a challenging role that requires you to work with district and school leaders to plan effective implementations and transform instructional practice in every classroom. You are able to navigate complex discussions, build strong relationships, and be organized and detail oriented. At the same time, you are able to command attention and deliver effective trainings in both online and in-person formats. As an Educator Engagement Content Specialist, you will be designing, researching, and writing compelling materials (e.g. success stories, articles, thought leadership posts, whitepapers) that engage our audience of instructional leaders and educators. The writing will focus on compelling instructional challenges faced in every classroom each day, such as raising expectations and rigor, scaffolding and differentiating effectively, increasing student engagement, and incorporating social and emotional learning. Your work at Goalbook won’t just be talking about these issues, but also offering concrete examples that empower educators to put best practices into action. You will influence thousands of educators across the country from first-year classroom teachers to district superintendents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strengthen organizational thought leadership through execution on many writing projects in parallel, in a variety of formats ranging from in-depth whitepapers to concise success stories and educator case studies to our website copy
  • Format and publish your work on a variety of platforms such as our website, blog, newsletter, and social media
  • Gather and analyze audience engagement stats
