Since our inception over a decade ago, we’ve always prioritized work that ensures our tool is secure and that both user and student data is safe.

To provide more transparency around how we do this, we are actively pursuing a SOC 2 Type II certification as a way for districts to verify our commitment to trust, privacy, and security.   

SOC 2 Type II

SOC 2 Type II compliance is the gold-standard of third-party security verification for tech-based companies. The goal of SOC 2 Type II certification is to ensure the company’s systems are set up with the assurance of the 5 Trust Services Criteria. This includes assurance across: 

  1. Privacy 
  2. Security 
  3. Availability
  4. Processing Integrity 
  5. Confidentiality

We are actively enhancing our systems to meet the rigorous requirements of SOC 2 Type II compliance and will have a licensed third-party auditor assess our work when complete.

Accessibility for All.

To provide a fully accessible and optimized experience for all users, we’ve taken careful measures to ensure Goalbook Toolkit is accessible, regardless of the assistive technology being used or the specific abilities of individuals accessing the tool.

Goalbook Toolkit is monitored and tested regularly by our internal team and AudioEye, a third-party provider of Web Accessibility testing and monitoring. As issues of accessibility are identified, we quickly work to deploy solutions that improve the user experience

The AudioEye Certification seal represents a commitment to accessibility and digital inclusion, and AudioEye certifies that Goalbook Toolkit is being enhanced to conform with WCAG 2.1 Level AA Success Criteria to the greatest extent possible.
